DAY 3: POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair

The POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair has attracted a successful turnout after being open to the public, taking precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Here is what you missed from Saturday, September 12th, 2020.

The Berlin Hyp-Prize

Selected from the special exhibition of the Academy POSITIONS with partner Berlin Hyp, two young artists, Elisa Manig and Till Galunke were awarded the Berlin Hyp-Prize. The prize allows both talents to present at next year’s POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair.

The Contemporary African Photography Prize

The CAP Prize prize is awarded to five photographers who’s work was created on the African continent or engages with the African. The POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair exhibition will include works by the CAP Prize 2019 winners: Jodie Bieber, Sanne de Wilde & Bénédicte Kurzen, Thembinkosi Hlatshwayo, Abdo Shanan and Jansen van Staden
